First Step: Register to Access the FCC Data Location Fabric

The Fabric license is free and Government Entities and ISPs should register to access the FCC Fabric.
Tribal owned telcos should request the Tribal version of the license agreement from the FCC’s vendor CostQuest.
Tribal governments with tribally-operated ISPs should register as a Tribal ISP.
The FCC is available to set up a video call to assist with the process and answer any questions.

The New Mexico Area Planning District V
Southwest New Mexico Council of Governments
The New Mexico Area Planning District V, "Southwest New Mexico Council of Governments", was created in 1969 by a joint resolution. It is a voluntary association of Local Governments and Organizations. The SWNMCOG provides regional planning and technical assistance on transportation, economic development, infrastructure and other issues that are established by the Board.
RPO History: New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is the designated State Agency that receives and administers federal and state transportation funds. NMDOT created 7 Regional Planning Organizations (RPOs) within the State of New Mexico. RPO process has been in place since early 1990s. NMDOT has contracted with Councils of Governments (COGs) to provide administrative and staff support for the RPOs since 2005.
